If you are building or refurbing, we always say it is best to think about what window furnishings you would like on your blinds from the outset of planning your home. The finished blind, curtain or Plantation Shutter will be determined on what windows you select.
For instances, some windows don’t suit Plantation Shutters due to how they open. If you want Roller Blinds mounted in the recess of the window, the reveal needs to be at least 60 to 70mm to ensure the brackets fit in. If you are looking to have a recessed pelmet/bulkhead for you curtains, the builder will need to plan for this at the early building stage. We can help with all this planning, so contact us as your plans are being finalised, we will be happy to help.

She was patient and professional and listened to our needs to provide us the best options available. We also were lucky enough to receive help from Craig who provided us advice on the placement of the zip screens and double checked measurements. Matt (installer) was incredibly easy to communicate with and was happy to help with a few minor adjustments weeks later to make sure everything was just right.
