Unlike other auto awnings, Fixed Guide Awnings don’t have locking arms. Instead they utilise a circular guide on the bottom bar which runs up the two metal guide rods on either side of your window. This gives them the ability to stop at any height on the guides so you can decide exactly how much sun you want to let into your home at any time. Generally, they are fixed to the brick work or timber next to the window which ensures incredibly strong support.
Smooth operation
Fixed Guide Awnings aren’t just flexible because of their ability to be stopped at any height, they also offer a range of operation options. They can be manually operated either internally or externally and have the option for a rope and pulley for the very high, hard to reach windows. You can also choose to use a crank for the easier to reach windows on a ground level. Whichever you decide is best for you we can guarantee that the system will be easy and smooth to operate.
For the ultimate convenience, we also offer motorised Fixed Guide Awnings. You can operate your awnings by barely lifting a finger with a remote or you can even connect them to your wifi and control your awnings from your phone or tablet. Things get even better when you set timers! Your blinds will automatically come up and down as the sun rotates around your home so you can have the perfect level of protection without having to put in any work.

john hughes2021-12-01Just purchased and installed 14 internal blockout roller blinds (12 being motorised) thru Delux Blinds of Ringwood East, and couldn't be happier with the result. Facing east with full morning sun into the living room, and late afternoon sun on the back of the house needed some careful design but some innovative thinking by Delux solved the problem. The 10,5 mt living room window wall with 2 stacker doors was tricky but overcome using 9 separate drops face fitted and motorised in 3 sections with interlinked drops. This allows greater flexibility of use, and reduced the cost considerably. The drops allign with the window mullions so while a minimal gap cannot be avoided between drops no direct sunlight penetrates. A quick word on the motorisation - this is a fabulous way to go for ease and simplicity of operation and highly recommended. We find the batteries in our earlier blinds lasting over a year between charges and the blind can actually indicate the charge level! The overall effect is fabulous and a testament to Delux Blinds who went to great lengths to ensure we got exactly what we were seeking. Great effort guy's thankyou. We'll be back for more.
